Hi, my name is Makayla!

I am a mother of two from Weirton, West Virginia, originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I recently decided to get into photography as it has been something I wanted to do for years now but focused on raising my now 4 and 7 year old children. I never really was set on what I wanted to photograph exactly until I met my boyfriend Dustin, who is a motocross racer himself. I fell in love watching the races for the first time and seeing all of the amazing photos that other photographers were capturing and was hooked instantly.

My first shoot was at HighPoint this year which also happened to be the first Pro/Supercross race that I had seen in person. The atmosphere and the people there had me so mesmerized. That day I learned that Motocross fans were just one massive family and it made me fall in love with the sport. That led to my boyfriend Dustin and I to start this side gig capturing all of the cool stunts and moments of motocross!
